From December 19 to 22, 2025, the 22nd Academic Symposium of the Animal Reproduction Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine was successfully held in Foshan, Guangdong province. The symposium was organized by the Animal Reproduction Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, hosted by Foshan University and the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Animal Molecular Design and Precise Breeding, and co-organized by units including the Ministry of Science and Technology's Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in Livestock and Poultry Breeding Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs' Discipline Cluster on Animal Genetics, Breeding and Reproduction, Guangdong Ocean University, and Beijing VJTBio Co., Ltd.

Centered on the theme "Promoting Innovation in Animal Reproduction Theory and Technology, Driving High-Quality Industrial Development," the event was fully attended, bringing together top-tier experts within the industry to build consensus. The conference invited distinguished scholars and experts from various research institutes and universities to deliver keynote speeches, systematically presenting the latest advancements and achievements in fundamental research breakthroughs, cutting-edge technology exploration, and industrial application translation within the field. It attracted over 820 participants, including experts and student representatives from universities, research institutions, production units, and farming enterprises across China related to animal reproduction. As one of the key co-organizers of this symposium, VJTBio focused on addressing pain points in swine, cattle, and small ruminant reproduction, introducing innovative and practically applicable new technologies and product solutions to empower and enhance innovation in the field of animal reproduction.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Wang Dong, Secretary-General of the Animal Reproduction Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and researcher at the Institute of Animal Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. During the opening remarks session, speeches were delivered respectively by Tian Jianhui, Chairman of the Animal Reproduction Branch and professor at China Agricultural University; Yan Hanping, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine; and Zeng Xin'an, Vice President of Foshan University. Grounded in the overall development of the industry, they spoke from perspectives of mission and responsibility, industrial empowerment, and talent cultivation, resonating deeply with the audience.

Following the speeches, the conference proceeded to the keynote report session. Domestic and international experts and scholars shared in-depth insights on fundamental research in swine, cattle, small ruminant, and poultry reproduction, as well as various cutting-edge technological topics and industrial applications. Among them, Sun Lichen from VJTBio's Technology Expansion Department presented a report titled "New Advances in the Application of Recombinant FSH for Reproductive Regulation." The presentation closely addressed current reproductive challenges in the swine, cattle, and small ruminant farming industries, elaborating on the technological innovations and application results of VJTBio's independently developed Recombinant Porcine Follitropin Fc Fusion Protein. As China's first Class I new veterinary drug for animal reproduction with complete independent intellectual property rights, this product utilizes high-efficiency mammalian cell protein expression technology, boasting core advantages of safety, high efficacy, and "zero residue."

The report presented fundamental research findings on long-acting recombinant FSH and recombinant hCG, demonstrating that their combined use can significantly enhance both the quantity and synchronization of ovulation in sows, optimize embryo quantity and quality, provide a favorable hormonal environment for embryonic development, and markedly enhance reproductive efficiency. Additionally, the report shared progress in the application of recombinant FSH in economic animals like swine, cattle, and small ruminants, covering core reproductive technologies such as fixed-time artificial insemination, superovulation, ovum pick-up, as well as the field of embryo engineering. The VJTBio team collaborates with universities and research institutes on researches concerning new products or reproductive technologies and can provide customized reproductive technical support and services tailored to the specific needs of scientific research units, facilitating the efficient translation and application of scientific achievements into frontline production practices.

In the exhibition area running parallel to the academic sessions, VJTBio's booth also maintained a consistently high level of engagement, with numerous attendees engaging in in-depth discussions on technical details and collaboration models. Among the visitors were representatives from research institutions and universities with long-standing partnerships with VJTBio, who held detailed consultations on deepening existing cooperative projects and exploring future joint directions. There were also faculty and students from academic institutions who expressed strong interest in VJTBio's innovative technologies, focusing their exchanges on application protocols for new products in reproductive regulation, technological optimization, and the feasibility of jointly pursuing cutting-edge research topics in reproduction. The booth also attracted international experts and scholars, who paused for inquiries and held cordial discussions on potential international research collaboration.

This participation represents a significant practice of VJTBio's commitment to the deep integration of "Industry, Academia, Research, and Application." VJTBio consistently considers advancing industry technological progress its responsibility. By joining this gathering of China's top scientific forces in animal reproduction, the company has built bridges for communication and cooperation with research institutes and achieved precise alignment between innovative technologies and industry needs. Moving forward, the company will further deepen research collaborations with universities and research institutes by leveraging its own R&D strengths, continuously promote the industrial translation of technological achievements, provide more targeted reproductive solutions for farming enterprises, help enhance China's independent innovation capability and industrial competitiveness in animal reproduction, and contribute greater strength to the high-quality development of the animal husbandry sector.
